How you make a difference

We are a dynamic, private equity-backed decentralized healthcare services provider operating across the United States. With over 15,000 dedicated employees including doctors, nurses, mental health providers, and clinical staff, we manage a network of 350+ facilities serving diverse communities in both rural and metropolitan areas. Our decentralized model presents variable demands across sites, with client-driven staffing requirements that directly impact our operational efficiency and financial performance. To ensure optimal service delivery, we seek a skilled Workforce Management Consultant to design and implement scalable solutions for staffing and scheduling challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing staffing and scheduling practices across our multi-site healthcare network.

  • Analyze staffing requirements, client demands, and workforce dynamics to develop data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand client-driven staffing needs, regulatory requirements, and financial implications.

  • Design scalable workforce management solutions tailored to address talent supply shortages, call-outs, and fluctuations in demand.

  • Develop robust scheduling processes and tools to optimize resource allocation while minimizing overtime costs and penalties.

  • Leverage technology solutions, including UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), to enhance workforce planning, scheduling accuracy, and operational efficiency.

  • Provide guidance and support to site-level management teams in implementing and maintaining standardized workforce management practices.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of workforce management initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration of workforce management solutions with other business systems and processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in workforce management, preferably within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong understanding of staffing and scheduling principles, labor regulations, and industry standards.

  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in workforce management software and tools, with experience in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic mindset with a track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions to complex business challenges.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative approach with a focus on building strong relationships and fostering teamwork across diverse functional areas.

Additional Details

We are seeking to bring this individual on board in the near future and anticipate needing their assistance for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extending the engagement. If there is mutual interest, we are open to discussing the potential transition to a full-time position. The ideal candidate should be prepared to travel to our corporate headquarters in Nashville and potentially to different field facilities, depending on our implementation strategy.
