The Product Manager is responsible for advocating technical products, ensuring they exceed customer needs, and evolving them to realize each product vision of Wellpath.
- Bachelor's degree with a clinical focus
5+ years of hands on clinical experience
Experience analyzing existing EMR and/or patient care applications/products to determine opportunities for value enhancement
Track record of effective communication between leadership of clinical, technical, and other disciplines
A deep understanding of the nuances at the intersection of healthcare applications and actual use by licensed clinicians

Ability to track and report relative impact of enhancements.
Possess a drive to identify and articulate the pain points of the customer and opportunities for improvement within our applications.
Investigate, understand, and convey clinical workflows.
Gather improvement requests and manage product expectations with key stakeholders.
Define and implement a mechanism for quantifying value of development requests.
Provide IT Project Manager with clear product requirements.
Work with IT Project Manager and Clinical Business Analyst to clearly prioritize product backlog.
Provide transparent communication of priority and status of backlog items.
Review submitted product artifacts and provide feedback to the development team.
Work with VP of Software Development and Engineering to define a short and long term product vision.
Collaborate with Clinical Business Analyst to perform gap analysis of competitive offerings.
Triage/categorize product backlog into appropriate buckets and keep backlog pruned and current.
Collaborate with IT Project Manager to set and maintain a predictable, achievable release schedule.
Conducts advanced training sessions with experienced product users.
Ensures that training materials are kept up to date.
Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Consults with internal and external clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug products and attain client approval.
Writes documentation or reviews documentation written by others that describes installation and operating procedures.
Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
